2026 Season Recap

The Wolverines headed back to the playoffs for the 7th time in the last 9 seasons under Coach Jeff Brown. The young team grinded through one of the toughest schedules in 5A and finished 3rd in the region with an 11-10 record. The Wolverines swept county rival River Ridge in the final three games of the season to secure the three seed and they went on to face Thomas County Central in the first round of the playoffs and lost two tight games in the series. With many underclassmen getting many varsity innings under their belt, the 2026 team put the Wolverines back on the map and will be a state contender for years to come!

2022 State Champions!

The Wolverines are STATE CHAMPS!!!! Defeating our cross town rival 4-0 and 5-0 at Truist Park in Atlanta, GA. The dogpile on the mound is something these players will remember forever! The Wolverines got better and better as the season progressed and ended the season on a 14 game winning streak as they swept all of the series in the playoffs.

The Wolverines finished the season ranked #1 in 7A in the state of GA in every poll, and ranked #15 in the final MaxPreps national rankings.
